Anne Sidio
Vice President, People
Anne Sidio came to LanzaJet with 25 years of experience in the “people business.” After graduating from the University of Chicago with a BA in Public Policy, she began her career as a Change Management and Human Performance Consultant with Accenture, focused on supporting teams and organizations through large-scale process and technology changes. After her almost 5 years in consulting, Anne ventured into healthcare with two Chicago-area health systems (now Northwestern and AMITA), which is where her formal Human Resources journey began. During this time, Anne also completed her MBA at DePaul and Benedictine Universities, with a focus on Organizational Leadership. She then spent time with Castle Metals as their head of Recruitment and Retention, then promoted into the Global Head of HR. While at Castle Metals, she was able to learn a new industry (aerospace, oil & gas, and industrial metals distribution), partnered with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team through M&A and major organizational changes. She then spent time in CHRO/Head of HR roles in smaller private companies including SMS Assist (called Chicago’s Next Unicorn by the NYT in 2016) and ComPsych (global leader in EAP services supporting over 100m lives). In 2019, Anne took a break from running HR to dive into Executive Search, where she spent almost 4 years providing consulting and executive recruiting partnerships across various industries. In 2022, Anne joined Illinois Bone and Joint Institute as their CHRO.
Outside of work, Anne lives in Naperville, is married, and has 3 children. Recently she also served on the Board of Directors for the Career and Networking Center.
Anne prides herself on being genuine and approachable to all people, balancing the cost/culture continuum in her approach to her role, and building strong relationships to accomplish great things…and having fun along the way.
